Where do I come from? Is there life after death? What is the meaning of life? What should I do with my life? Who should I marry? How much should I worry about what others think? What do I do with my anger, fear, shame, and disappointment? How much should I keep for myself and how much should I give away? These are some of the biggest questions of life that all people want answers to. Some look within themselves for the answers to these questions; while others look from without. For the Christian, our faith teaches us that all questions of life are found “outside” of ourselves in the external authority of God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit, and the Bible. In today’s sermon, Pastor Brandon tackles the MOST IMPORTANT conversation of the entire series; namely~ the role of the Scriptures and what authority it holds as the believer engages with it in the active presence of Jesus.
